Answer
Question: What do I do if Blood Stains leave a brown mark? Is is permanent?

Answer: Blood is a potential Bio-Hazard so the first and last step before and after spot removal is the application of a Euuropean standard tested antimicrobial such as Formula 429 to protect yourself and your customer from any potential contamination. Detailed giudes are available for handling bodily fluids.
The first step to successful blood stain removal is to use cool enzyme detergents. Avoid heat as this will set in the blood stain and alter the chemistry of the blood and make it more difficult if not impossible to remove. As powerful acting powdered enzymes such as Enzall or Prekleen are activated and diluted with hot water (60 degrees), these products must be prepared beforehand or left to cool. Powdered enzymes will not work mixed cold althoigh once activated hot they will then work once cooled.
The brown residue which is often left after the sucessful removal of the blood is usually iron from the blood. This is removed using Rust Remover and then finally rinse the rust remover out using the Chemspec Alkaline Spotter.
