Question: Is ECOgent safe to use around children and pets?
Answer: The statistics are astounding. Household disinfectants account for 93% of severe poisonings amoung young children. Every year 80,000 children in the U.S. ingest pesticides, the majority being kitchen and bathroom cleaners. Right from the start, we designed ECOgent to be the safest cleaner on the market. Given the products currently on the market, you might think that in order to have an effective cleaner you have to have a toxic cleaner. We believe that is old thinking. One death caused by cleaner chemicals is one too many. Instead we set out to develop with the objective of creating a product as toxic as water--clean water, that is. As you can see by our results, we have been successful.
So what happens if you were to accidentally ingest ECOgent? If you were to drink enough, it is possible that you may become ill. We advise you always keep any cleaner out of the reach of children. But we can safely state that it is safe to use and store ECOgent around children or pets without concern for the harmful effects usually associated with cleaning products.
Now you can safely use a single effective cleaner for all your cleaning tasks knowing that it is not only harmless to the environment, but it is also gentle to the skin and safe to use around your child or pets.
