Answer: I noticed your products display the Environmental Choice Program EcoLogo. Why?
Cogent Environmental Solutions is proud that ECOgent Cleaning Products are certified to bear the Environment Choice seal of approval—the green EcoLogo. Unique for cleaning products, ECOgent is certified under ECP-33, recognized to be the most stringent standard for cleaners, to have been made from 100% All Natural Components. ECOgent chose to apply for ECP-33 certification because they intend to require proof of anaerobic degradation in future standards. Cogent Environmental would also like to see lower V.O.C. (Volatile Organic Compound) levels specified.
The Environmental Choice Program is Environment Canada’s ecolabeling program that certifies products and services meet strict environmental codes. TerraChoice Environmental Services is licensed to manage and deliver this service. They identify certification by licensing the use of the EcoLogo, helping consumers and commercial buyers make informed, environmentally responsible decisions about the products they purchase. After a thorough audit of cleaning efficacy, our environmental studies and all the ingredients used in ECOgent Spray Wipe and ECOgent Concentrate, we are happy to report that our products surpassed these highly regarded industry standards.
